Refunds & Withdrawal

1. Help with a purchase

Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for purchases made through its checkout. You can contact it using the details on your receipt, or email tomas.svojanovsk11@gmail.com for help with your Backend Certs purchase. Include your order reference and purchase email if available. You can contact us without signing in.

Refunds are processed through the merchant. When a full refund is confirmed, access granted by that purchase ends. Any separate valid access remains in place.

2. The statutory 14-day withdrawal period

If you buy as a consumer in the EU or EEA, you generally have 14 days from concluding an online contract for a service or digital content to withdraw without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions and conditions below. Other mandatory local rights remain available.

Send an unequivocal statement that you wish to withdraw to the merchant identified on your receipt. You may also send it to tomas.svojanovsk11@gmail.com so we can help handle it with Lemon Squeezy. Sending the statement before the applicable deadline is sufficient; it does not depend on when a support agent reads it. The model below is optional.

Where statutory withdrawal applies, reimbursement is due without undue delay and within 14 days of the merchant being informed, using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed without a fee. Only deductions permitted by applicable law may be made.

3. Immediate access and withdrawal rights

For digital content supplied without a physical medium, the statutory withdrawal right can end when supply begins only if all legal conditions are met: you expressly consented in advance to supply during the withdrawal period, acknowledged that this would end your withdrawal right, and received the required contract confirmation on a durable medium, such as email.

Account creation, signing in, starting a practice exam or accepting our general terms alone is not treated as that express consent and acknowledgement. Immediate access alone does not remove your rights.

Different rules apply where a purchase is a service, including a digital service. Starting a service does not by itself end the withdrawal right. If you expressly requested an early start and received the legally required information, a proportionate charge for service supplied before withdrawal may be due. The withdrawal right for a paid service can end on full performance only where the required prior consent and acknowledgement were obtained.

We do not apply a blanket “no refunds” rule to the study application. Nor do we add a separate, unconditional 14-day satisfaction guarantee. Mandatory consumer rights and any applicable merchant commitments continue to apply.

4. Missing access, defects and billing errors

Contact us if payment is confirmed but access is missing, you were charged incorrectly or the product does not match the offer. Your rights concerning defects or non-delivery are separate from changing your mind and remain available even where a withdrawal exception applies.

Lemon Squeezy also applies its Buyer Terms and refund policy. It reserves discretion to issue refunds within 60 days to prevent chargebacks. That discretion is not a promise that every request will be accepted, and it does not restrict a refund required by law.

5. Optional withdrawal notice

No reason is needed to exercise a valid statutory withdrawal right. Do not include payment-card details.
